We have just finished class one of about thirty classes. It has the lecture in text and it has a notes video slide show. We put a lot of time and effort into the first class. The lecture is over 4400 words and the slide show consists of about 75 slides. </div>

Asatru is the modern re-birth of the old Norse beliefs. The Old Norse culture is the ancestors of the Norwegians, Danes, Swedes, the Icelanders, and probably a few other peoples in that general area. They follow the Norse Pantheon, See below for a list of individual Gods and Goddesses and their beliefs. The revival of Asatru began in 1973 by Gladsheim. It is interesting to note that Asatru is one of two recognized faiths in Iceland, with the other one being the Lutheran Church.<br />
